A generative clock exploring topology, stacking and contouring.

The topology fills itself up and creates a new design on every hour change. Every session has it’s own seed that survives page refreshes, so every visitor has a unique clock. I like the 3-D look the clock has and I am quite pleased with how readable it is.

The red seconds hand breaks the monochrome pallete and sparks some energy into the composition.

The composition can look like a moon during a scientific experiment inside a deep crater. It can also look like a well seen from above, or a cave entrance, or the insides of some creature.

The levels of “stacked holes” have a quite descrete animation to make the composition more interesting. It gaves a certain omnious aura to the clock, which was not intended, but welcome. It also causes some sense of vertigo and maybe disorientation. Don’t look too much into the bore.
